§ 02.1 · WHERE YOU START
23.5 KG.
4 KG TO 23.5 KG.
The entry point of the Chrome Edition. A quick turn of the handle moves you through the range in 1.5 kg steps, and the pair sits in one small footprint.
§ 01 · STEALTH CHROME EDITION
Add an upgrade package when you outgrow the pair you own. Same handle, same system, more range.
§ 02.1 · WHERE YOU START
The entry point of the Chrome Edition. A quick turn of the handle moves you through the range in 1.5 kg steps, and the pair sits in one small footprint.
§ 02.2 · THE HEAVY PACKAGE
Heavy adds two longer bases and 12 more chrome plates to the pair you already own. The dumbbell grows from 35.5 cm to 40 cm and reaches 32.5 kg, 20 weights in 1.
§ 02.3 · THE HEAVIEST PACKAGE
Heaviest takes the same pair to 41.5 kg and 26 weights in 1. Full length is 44 cm, and the width across your hands never changes at 19.5 cm.
§ 03.1 · WHAT ARRIVES
Heavy and Heaviest hold the same parts: 12 chrome weight plates and two longer bases. The bases are new, so your old ones simply come out of service.
§ 03.2 · FITTING IT
No tools and nothing to dismantle. Lift your dumbbell out, move your plates across into the new base, add the new plates alongside them and set it back down.
§ 03.3 · THE SAME MECHANISM
The selector does not change. It simply has more plates to reach, so the handle you already know now covers a longer ladder.
§ 03.4 · WHERE IT ENDS
Two upgrades on and the pair covers 4 kg to 41.5 kg. That is the work of 26 pairs of fixed dumbbells, in the space of one.
§ 04 · DATA SHEET
44 CM
§ 05 · BUILD YOUR SET
Pick what you own today and where you want to finish. We will put the exact parts in your basket, whether that is a whole new pair or a single upgrade package.

§ 06 · FITTING THE UPGRADE
The upgrade arrives as two new, longer bases plus the extra plates. You are not modifying anything you own: you move your plates into the new base, add the new ones, and put the dumbbell back down. Work on one dumbbell at a time.
Lift your dumbbell out of its old base and set it aside.
Put the new base where the old one stood.
Move your existing plates across into the new base, then add the new plates alongside them.
Set the dumbbell down into the base and turn the handle to check it picks up cleanly.
§ 07 · ONE PAIR, YEARS OF TRAINING
Your handles, selectors and grips carry straight over.
Standard on every package. Full terms.

It depends on the pair you own now. A 23.5 kg Chrome Edition pair takes Heavy to reach 32.5 kg. A 32.5 kg pair takes Heaviest to reach 41.5 kg. To go from 23.5 kg all the way to 41.5 kg you need both, and they fit one after the other.
12 chrome weight plates and two adjustable bases, sized so the longer dumbbell sits correctly. The handle, selector and grip you already own are not replaced.
The packages are made for the Stealth Chrome Edition adjustable dumbbells. They do not fit the Core Edition, the Black Edition or any other brand. If you are unsure which pair you own, send us a photograph using the form below and we will confirm before you order.
Minutes, with no tools. The new bases arrive ready to use, so you lift your dumbbell out, move your plates into the new base, add the new plates and set it back down. Do one dumbbell at a time and you cannot get them mixed up.
No. Your handles, selectors and existing plates all carry over and stay yours. The only parts that come out of service are your old bases, which the longer ones replace.
In the base, a 23.5 kg dumbbell measures 41.5 by 23.5 by 21.5 cm. At 32.5 kg it is 46 cm long, and at 41.5 kg it is 50 cm. The width and height do not change, so an upgrade only asks for a little more length on the floor.
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Buying a larger pair outright costs less than starting small and upgrading later. What upgrading buys you is the option to spread the cost over time and to grow the pair you already train with, instead of replacing it.
Yes. 0% payment options are available. See the payments page for details.
Send us your order number or a photograph of your pair and we will tell you which package fits. We are UK based, and you can also reach us at hello@assassingoods.com.
