RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Assassin Goods Ltd, we want you to buy with confidence and clearly understand how returns and refunds work. This policy explains your statutory rights under UK law and our additional voluntary returns offers.

Please inspect your order on delivery and report any damage or missing items within 48 hours.

1. Your Statutory Rights (UK Customers)

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Under UK law, you have the right to:

  • Cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason
  • Return the goods within 14 days of cancellation

  • Receive a full refund for goods that are faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose

Where goods are returned under statutory cancellation rights, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Standard statutory returns allow inspection of goods only. They do not permit extended use beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess the product.

2. Delivery Inspection & Damage Reporting (Site-Wide)

All customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery.

Any of the following must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery:

  • Transit damage
  • Visible defects

  • Missing items or components

Reports made after 48 hours will be assessed on the basis that the product was delivered in good condition, and any damage is presumed to have occurred after delivery, unless the issue relates to a fault covered under the Consumer Rights Act.

3. Site-Wide Returns (Summary)

For products not covered by the 45-Day Home Trial, the following standard returns apply:

  • Returns accepted: Within 28 days of delivery
  • Condition: Unused, unassembled, in original packaging
  • Return shipping: Paid by the customer (unless faulty)
  • Faulty items: Free return and full refund or replacement

  • Refund processing: 5–10 working days after receipt and inspection

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, you may return your item within 28 days of receiving it, provided that:

  • The item is unused and unassembled
  • All original packaging is included

  • Packaging is undamaged and suitable for resale

If these conditions are met, we will issue a refund excluding original delivery charges and any applicable repackaging costs.

⚠️ Items returned in a condition unsuitable for resale may be subject to a repackaging fee of £3–£60, depending on size, weight, and condition.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days
  • Funds are returned to the original payment method

  • You will receive email confirmation once processed

Refused or Undeliverable Deliveries

If a delivery is refused or returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address details:

  • Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund

  • Any applicable handling or carrier fees may also apply

4. 45-Day Home Trial – Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg ONLY

We offer a 45-Day Home Trial exclusively for the Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg.

No other products sold by Assassin Goods Ltd are eligible for the 45-Day Home Trial unless explicitly stated on the relevant product page.

The Home Trial allows customers to assess whether the dumbbells suit their needs in a personal home environment, subject to the conditions below.

The 45-day trial period begins on the date of delivery, as confirmed by courier tracking.

5. Eligibility for the 45-Day Home Trial

To qualify for a return under the 45-Day Home Trial, all of the following must apply:

  • Ordered after Feb 16th 2026
  • Return request made within 45 days of delivery
  • Product used for personal home use only
  • One 45-day trial per household or customer
  • All original components, manuals, spares, tools, and packaging included

  • Product meets the condition standards set out below

The Home Trial is not a rental service. Excessive use, misuse, or damage may result in deductions or refusal of refund.

6. Condition Assessment – Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg

All returns under the 45-Day Home Trial are subject to inspection using the following criteria:

A. Completeness

  • All plates present
  • Handles
  • Trays/cradle
  • Manuals
  • Spares and tools

  • Original packaging

B. Cosmetic Condition

  • Paint intact (no chips)
  • No dents or deformation
  • No scratches beyond light surface marks
  • No rust or corrosion

  • No chalk, residue, or build-up

C. Functional Condition

  • Plates seat correctly
  • Selector engages smoothly
  • No loose or bent components

D. Evidence of Misuse

  • Impact marks
  • Dropping damage

  • Commercial or gym-style wear

7. Refund Levels & Deductions (45-Day Home Trial)

Refunds are issued based on the condition of the returned item following inspection:

Full Refund (0% Deduction)

  • No chips, scratches, or dents
  • Fully functional

  • Complete packaging

20% Deduction

  • Noticeable cosmetic wear
  • Chalk or other residue present
  • Small surface scratches

  • Packaging damaged but still usable

35% Deduction

  • Heavier cosmetic wear
  • Minor paint damage

  • Item requires refurbishment before resale

Refund Refused

  • Chips, cracks, or dents
  • Bent or deformed components
  • Missing parts

  • Evidence of dropping or misuse

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of inspection approval.

8. Returns Process

Before returning any item, you must contact us using the contact form at the bottom of this page and include:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for the return

We will review your request and provide return instructions where applicable.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.

9. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Returns must be securely packaged using the original packaging

  • Shipping must be tracked and adequately insured

Assassin Goods Ltd is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

10. Faulty Goods

If an item develops a genuine fault, please contact us as soon as the fault becomes apparent using the contact form.

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK consumer law. Faulty goods are assessed separately from the 45-Day Home Trial condition standards.

11. Returns for All Other Products

All products other than the Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg are covered only by standard statutory and site-wide return terms.

They are not eligible for the 45-Day Home Trial unless explicitly stated on the relevant product page.

Extended use of non-trial products beyond what is reasonably necessary for inspection is not permitted.

12. How to Return an Item

Please follow these steps to ensure your return is processed without delay:

  1. Complete the contact form below, including your order number and reason for return
  2. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions
  3. Complete the Returns Form (where applicable)
  4. Package the item securely — it must arrive in a resalable condition

  5. Send the item using a tracked and insured service to the following address:
