RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY.
Your statutory rights, our 45-day home trial on the Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg, the condition-based deduction schedule, and the step-by-step returns process. Inspect on delivery, contact us promptly, return securely.
§ 01
YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS (UK CUSTOMERS)
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA) or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCR).
Right to cancel (change of mind)
- 14 days to notify cancellation. You have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel your order.
- 14 days to return the goods. Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
- Refund of the product price and basic delivery. We will refund the price of the goods and the cost of standard delivery (if you paid for upgraded delivery, we will refund up to the cost of our standard delivery option).
- 14 days to refund. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the goods back, or 14 days from the date you provide evidence of return, whichever is sooner.
- Return shipping is your responsibility. Unless the item is faulty or misdescribed, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
- Deduction for diminished value. Handling beyond what's needed to inspect the goods may reduce their value, and we are entitled to deduct a proportionate amount from your refund. See §6 for our published deduction schedule.
Right to reject faulty goods
- 30-day short-term right to reject. If goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have the right to reject them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
- Repair or replacement. After 30 days and within 6 months, we will offer a repair or replacement. If unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction.
- After 6 months. You retain rights against faulty goods for up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland), though after 6 months the burden of proof shifts to the customer.
- Return shipping for faulty goods is free. We cover reasonable return shipping costs for confirmed faulty items.
§ 02
DELIVERY INSPECTION & REPORTING
Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Prompt reporting helps us resolve issues quickly and supports any carrier insurance claims.
Contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, if you notice:
- Transit damage to outer or inner packaging
- Visible damage or defects to the product
- Missing items or components
- Incorrect items delivered
Reports made outside this window will still be assessed, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. However, prompt reporting helps us distinguish between transit damage and damage occurring after delivery.

RETURNS OVERVIEW
We operate two returns routes:
Standard 14-day statutory returns
For all products except the Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg. Returns are accepted within the 14-day statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to the condition-based deduction schedule in §6.
45-day home trial
Exclusive to the Stealth Adjustable Dumbbells 41.5kg. Qualifying customers may use the product at home for up to 45 days to assess whether it suits their needs. Subject to eligibility conditions in §4.
No other products sold by Assassin Goods Ltd are eligible for the 45-Day Home Trial unless explicitly stated on the relevant product page.
§ 04
45-DAY HOME TRIAL — STEALTH ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELLS 41.5KG
The 45-day trial allows you to assess whether the dumbbells suit you in a personal home environment, subject to the conditions below. The trial period begins on the date of delivery, as confirmed by courier tracking.
Eligibility
To qualify under the 45-Day Home Trial, all of the following must apply:
- Order placed on or after 16 February 2026
- Return request made within 45 days of delivery
- Product used for personal home use only
- All original components, manuals, spares, tools, and packaging included
- Product meets the condition standards set out in §6
The 45-Day Home Trial is limited to one trial per customer or delivery address. We reserve the right to decline repeat trials to the same delivery address or customer account. The Home Trial is not a rental service. Excessive use, misuse, or damage may result in deductions or refusal of refund under §6.
§ 05
STANDARD 14-DAY RETURNS (ALL OTHER PRODUCTS)
For products not covered by the 45-Day Home Trial, we accept change-of-mind returns within the 14-day statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Cancellation timeline
- Notify within 14 days of delivery. Use the contact form on this page, quoting your order number.
- Return within 14 days of notification. Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
- Refund within 14 days. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or 14 days from the date you provide evidence of return, whichever is sooner.
Inspection and handling
You may handle and inspect the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning — as you would in a shop. Handling beyond this may reduce the value of the goods, and a proportionate deduction may be applied under §6. In practice:
- You may open the packaging and inspect the product
- You may assemble the product where assembly is necessary to establish how it functions
- You may try the product briefly to confirm it works as described
- Prolonged use, use in ways inconsistent with home inspection, or damage caused during handling may result in a deduction
Refund amount
We will refund:
- The full product price, subject to any condition deductions under §6
- The cost of standard outbound delivery (if you paid for an upgraded delivery option, we will refund up to the cost of our standard delivery)
Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or misdescribed. See §7 for the returns process.
§ 06
CONDITION-BASED DEDUCTIONS (ALL RETURNS)
This schedule applies to both 45-Day Home Trial returns and standard 14-day change-of-mind returns. Returns are inspected on receipt and photographed. We will share inspection photographs with you if you query the outcome.
Standard 14-day returns — condition tiers
Standard returns permit inspection rather than use, so Tier 1 requires the product to be essentially as-new.
45-day home trial returns — condition tiers
Because the Home Trial explicitly permits personal home use, Tier 1 accommodates light marks consistent with a fair trial.
Missing component replacement costs
Where components are missing but the product otherwise qualifies for a tier above, the following replacement costs are deducted in addition to the tier deduction:

Packaging replacement schedule
Where original packaging is missing, damaged beyond reuse, or inadequate for resale, a packaging replacement fee applies:

Where packaging replacement exceeds £60, we will provide a written quote from our packaging supplier before deducting, and you may choose to source equivalent packaging yourself instead.
Damage occurring in return transit
You are responsible for packaging the return securely and choosing an adequately insured, tracked shipping service. Damage occurring in return transit is your responsibility, not ours. We recommend:
- Using the original packaging wherever possible
- Adding additional protective material for heavy items
- Declaring the full retail value for insurance purposes
- Retaining all tracking and insurance documentation until your refund is confirmed
Refund calculation, inspection, and disputes
Original delivery charges are refunded in full only where the entire order is cancelled under the statutory 14-day cancellation period, up to the value of our standard delivery option.
All returns are inspected within 5 working days of receipt. We will email you the outcome, including photographs of the item as received, the assigned condition tier and reasoning, a breakdown of any deductions, and the final refund amount.
If you disagree with our assessment, reply to the outcome email within 7 days with your reasoning. We will review with a second inspector and provide a final decision within a further 7 days.
§ 07
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
Please follow these steps to ensure your return is processed without delay:
- Contact us first using the form at the bottom of this page, including your order number and reason for return. Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.
- Receive return instructions. We will confirm eligibility and provide a returns authorisation reference and return address.
- Complete the Returns Form. Download, print, and include the Returns Form inside your return parcel.
- Package securely. Use the original packaging wherever possible. The item must arrive in a condition suitable for inspection.
- Ship with a tracked, insured service. Return shipping and insurance are your responsibility. We recommend declaring the full retail value.
- Return to our warehouse. Ship to the address provided in your returns authorisation. Do not send returns to any other address without written confirmation.
§ 08
FAULTY GOODS
If an item develops a genuine fault, contact us as soon as the fault becomes apparent. We will assess under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Faulty goods are assessed separately from the condition-based deduction schedule in §6. Where we confirm a fault, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. Please retain proof of postage.
§ 09
REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE DELIVERIES
If a delivery is refused without valid reason, or returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by you:
- Outbound and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund
- Any applicable handling or carrier fees may also apply
- The standard 14-day return window still applies from the original delivery attempt date
